As an expanding school our children and families are growing amazingly well.
Since the opening of our lovely new school in April 2016, we have gone from strength to strength. In a short period of time we have celebrated many key events in school.
One such event was when we were awarded a National Heritage Blue Plaque in honour of John Cobb, a British racing driver whose former home was once on the site of our new school in Arran Way, Esher.
This was an incredibly exciting event as Brooklands Motor Museum brought over the car in which John Cobb secured a world speed record, the beautiful Napier-Railton.
In September 2016 we welcomed nursery aged children into our Cranmere family as we opened our very first Nursery School.
Since then our nursery has grown and is now very well established within our Cranmere Primary School family and ethos. We are so very fortunate to have a wonderful woodland setting in which the children can play and learn.
We are very proud of our children and of the great facilities that our school has to offer.
Our staff and parent community offer great support to us in a variety of ways.
More recently our Early Years are enjoying a super ‘mud kitchen’ which was built by parents.
We have adopted ‘Reading Rabbits’ (Salt and Pepper) who both live in Early Years but visit classes throughout the school.
Our children have great fun and enjoy reading with our rabbits. The children are also learning how to care for animals and share the responsibility of feeding and caring for the rabbits needs.
Recently our rabbits have been ‘encouraging’ our children to write so we are looking forward to lots of stories about our rabbits and their adventures.
