What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from images on the website.

Contact/Newsletter Links

When you sign-up for our newsletter, we will collect your email address and name from the form and store it in a database at our email service provider, mailchimp. We will collect personal usage data through mailchimp, such as how often you open and read our emails, and the links you click from within our emails.

This tracking is meant to help us ensure high quality newsletter content that engages our subscribers.

Each email you receive will include a link that allows you to opt-out of our system.

Should you choose to opt-out, we will process removing your email address and it’s associated data from our email newsletter platform (currently mailchimp,).

We will only use this data to send you our regular newsletter via email, we will not subscribe you to any other email distribution lists or share your information with anyone else.

If you are a member of our newsletter distribution lists prior to 25th May you would have proceeded through the ‘double opt-in’ method of subscribing which meets the new GDPR standards of consent so we will not be adding additional burden to your no doubt already creaking inbox! 🙂
